Tata Motors announced on May 15, 2026 that it acquired approximately 18% equity stake in Freight Commerce Solutions Private Limited (Freight Tiger) for about ₹95.66 crores through a secondary purchase from existing shareholders, increasing its stake to up to 63.6% on a fully diluted basis and establishing the target as a subsidiary. The acquisition, which involves no related party interests and no regulatory approvals, aims to integrate Freight Tiger's cloud-based logistics platform with Tata Motors' connected vehicle ecosystem to create an end-to-end digital logistics solution for commercial vehicles.
