Utkarsh Small Finance Bank reported Q4 FY26 results showing a strategic shift from unsecured JLG lending (down from 88% to 28% of gross loans) toward secured MSME, housing, and business banking, with secured loans now at 51% of the portfolio. The bank achieved a 99.7% collection efficiency, reduced fresh NPAs to INR170 crores from INR710 crores YoY, and improved its GNPA ratio to 7.7%. Disbursements rose to INR1,310 crores after three quarters of decline, driven by 58% QoQ growth in non-JLG segments. The bank completed a INR950 crore rights issue and targets 25-30% loan growth, 55% secured lending, and NIM above 8% in FY27, supported by technology upgrades and operational de-risking.
