Nuvoco Vistas Corporation announced it has signed definitive agreements to acquire a 26% stake in Clean Max Ilgohp Private Limited, a special purpose vehicle, to develop a 46.4 MW wind-solar hybrid renewable energy project in Rajasthan. The project, comprising 20 MW wind and 26.4 MW solar capacity with a 2-MWh battery storage system, will supply power to Nuvoco to support its cement operations and reduce carbon emissions by approximately 1,25,485 tonnes annually. The initiative aligns with Nuvoco’s sustainability strategy and DIRE agenda, aiming to increase renewable energy usage across its manufacturing facilities.
