Vodafone Idea's board approved investment of ₹4.33 crores in cash to acquire a 26% equity stake in a special purpose vehicle being incorporated by Shree MTK Textile Private Limited. The SPV will establish and operate a captive renewable power plant to meet regulatory electricity consumption requirements. No governmental approvals are required for this investment.

Vodafone Idea's Board approved the Q2 FY26 Monitoring Agency Report on ₹18,000 crore FPO proceeds utilization. As of September 30, 2025, ₹14,898.44 crore (84.6%) has been deployed: ₹7,776.76 crore toward network infrastructure (4G/5G expansion), ₹4,432.80 crore for deferred spectrum payments, and ₹2,688.88 crore for general corporate purposes. Following a May 30, 2025 Board resolution, ₹2,258 crore was reallocated from network capex to spectrum obligations. ₹2,715.76 crore remains unutilized, deployed in fixed deposits earning 5-7.56% returns. No material deviations from offer document objectives were observed.

Vodafone Idea reported Q2 FY2026 revenue of ₹110,680 million with a net loss of ₹55,839 million. The company faces severe financial distress with negative net worth of ₹824,602 million and total debt obligations of ₹2,014,090 million including AGR and spectrum payments. The independent auditor issued a material uncertainty going concern qualification. A Supreme Court directive in October–November 2025 allows the Department of Telecom to reconsider AGR reassessment, with the company dependent on this relief and fundraising for survival.
