The report, based on a survey of 300 senior leaders across automotive, medical devices, network equipment, and industrial automation, shows 98% of enterprises now depend more heavily on semiconductors than three years ago, with dependency accelerating most in industrial automation (75%). While 79% currently rely on off-the-shelf silicon, 66% plan to shift strategies within five years, with 59% opting for partner-led integration solutions. HCLTech positions itself as a leader in engineering services to address this shift, having invested over $70 million in advanced semiconductor labs and serving 90+ global semiconductor clients.
