Cochin Shipyard Limited reported FY27 Q1 revenue of INR 1,094.21 crores (up from INR 1,068.59 crores YoY) with PAT of INR 151.45 crores (down from INR 187.82 crores YoY). EBITDA margin was ~24% and PAT margin ~14%. The company announced a 50:50 joint venture with Drydocks World Dubai to operate and expand its ISRF ship repair facility, involving a INR 1,800 crore slump sale consideration with 50% cash and 50% equity. It also clarified plans for a standalone Block Fabrication Facility at Kochi with 60,000 ton annual capacity, and progress on other projects including a Vadinar ship repair facility and a V.O. Chidambaranar Port lease. The order book stands at INR 22,000 crores, with upcoming defense orders potentially increasing it to INR 27,000 crores.
