Carborundum Universal Limited (CARBORUNIV) Q2 FY27 Financial Results: PAT ₹8,784 Cr & Revenue ₹84,613 Cr

The Board approved unaudited standalone and consolidated results for Q1 FY27 ending June 30, 2026, showing consolidated revenue of ₹1,411 crores, up 16.9% YoY, with net loss after tax of ₹15,138 lakhs. Standalone revenue grew 21.2% to ₹846 crores, and PAT reached ₹88 crores excluding a one-time dividend. Segment growth was led by Abrasives at 20.1%, while Electrominerals and Ceramics rose 16.8% and 16.5% respectively. The company recorded an impairment of ₹10,413 lakhs and exceptional items of ₹13,457 lakhs due to asset write-downs in subsidiaries. Capital expenditure stood at ₹54 crores with a debt-equity ratio of 0.05. The results were reviewed by Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants LLP under SRE 2410.
